Dr. Nikos Tsotsolas is a Graduated Production and Management Engineer and holder of a Master’s Degree in the Scientific Area “Operational Research”, from the Department of Production and Management Engineering of the Technical University of Crete. In 2009 he was awarded a doctorate by the University of Piraeus and is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Attica. He has taught as a visiting professor in 5 Master’s Degree Programs. He is active in research on issues related to Logistics, Business Research and Decision Support Systems.
He has published over 80 papers and studies in scientific journals, international conferences and edited volumes. He has participated in the implementation of 25 research projects. Since 1995, he has been active as an independent consultant in Planning and Implementation of IT Projects and Research and Development Projects. He has collaborated with a number of organizations and businesses in Greece, Denmark and Ireland. He is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Business Research Society.
