Elena Ghika is a member of the Laboratory and Teaching staff of the Department of Business Administration at the University of West Attica. Since 1998 he has been employed as a laboratory associate at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. At PADA (former TEI of Athens) he has taught theoretical and laboratory courses such as: Industrial Organization & Technological Change (7th ed.), Management Economics (5th ed.), Small and Medium Business Management (6th ed.), Total Quality Management (E) (6th ed.), Introduction to Business Administration (1st ed.), Logical and Physical Design of Databases (E), Organization and Management of Wine and Food Businesses, Health Services Administration (5th ed.), Elements of Administration and Management of Health Facilities, Financial applications on PCs (E). In the past she has been a Financial Analyst in the Management Information Systems department of Shell Hellas S.A. and as a Consultant at Citibank N.A. He holds a PhD from the Department of Public Administration of Panteion University. Her thesis concerned the factors influencing the acceptance of new technologies and technological applications. She is a graduate of the Economics Department of the Athens University of Economics and Business (formerly ASOEE).
